Danna O'Connor
Morning Host
Danna is a native Nevadan, born in Elko and raised in Winnemucca. She has 27 years in the broadcasting business, starting in commercial radio right after high school, but preferring the public radio atmosphere. -
Chris Morrison
Part-Time Radio Host
Chris Morrison is Operations Manager of the Reno Chamber Orchestra. He made his first on-air appearance on KUNR in September 1978, and since has held a variety of positions at the station, including a four-year stint as Program Director in the 1980s. -
Tom Strekal
Weekend Host
Tom is the Saturday morning local host. He has performed onstage for area theater companies over the past two decades. A dedicated listener and supporter of KUNR since moving to Nevada in the early 1980s. -
Jordan Mitchell
Weekend Host
Jordan began as a volunteer at Reno Public Radio when he moved to the area in May 2009. He became a weekend host in 2010. He graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism with an emphasis in electronic media from Utah State University.

Bob Carroll
Bob Carroll has continued as a Nevada broadcasting treasure for more than 50 years. He hosts "Music of America" (Wed. 7-9 pm) and "Club 88" (Sun. 6-8 pm). Bob was inducted into the first Nevada Broadcasters Association in 1997. -
Jim Burke
Host of Jimbo's Juke Joint & Acoustic Roadhouse Cafe
Jim Burke has volunteered as a program host at KUNR from his humble beginnings with "Folk, Bluegrass and Beyond" in 1990, to the latest reincarnation, "Jimbo's Juke Joint," beginning in 2002. The program airs Saturdays from 1-3 pm. -
Don "Dondo" Darue
Host of The Risky Biscuit Hayseed Hoot
After 19 years on commercial radio, the Risky Biscuit Hayseed Hoot joined KUNR in May 2010. It's a mix of fun and insurgent Americana: country, folk, bluegrass, singer-songwriter, twang, spoken word, humor, and young old-timers, on Saturday, 11 am - 1 pm.

Cheryl Erwin is a licensed marriage and family therapist and author who has had a private practice working with children, teens, couples, and individuals in the Reno/Sparks area for 20 years. Her parenting commentaries air Tuesdays at 5:35 and 7:35 am. -
Robin Hollabird
Friday morning film reviewer/commentator
Robin Holabird reviews movies for KUNR. A former radio news reporter, Robin appreciates the KUNR format explores stories in depth. Robin's reviews have aired on KUNR for more than 30 years. You can hear them each Friday morning at 5:35 and 7:35. -
Dr. Rebecca Jankovich
Thursday morning Relationship Commentator
Dr. Jankovich has worked as a psychologist since 1974. She works with a range of problems including relationships, depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, grief, trauma, and struggles with life transitions. Her commentaries air Thursdays at 5:35 and 7:35 am

General Manager
David joined KUNR in 2005 and has served as GM since 2006. He encourages others to pursue their passions and make a difference with their lives. His radio commentaries on the heart-and-soul issues of life can be heard Mondays at 5:35 and 7:35 am. -
Laura Langner

Laura has worked for KUNR for over three years in the areas of business underwriting, fundraising and station relations. She has an undergraduate degree and advanced degree and has lived and worked in the Northeast, Midwest and Rocky Mountain regions. -
Theresa Reilly

Theresa works with businesses and non-profits to provide support for the station. She previously worked in marketing and sales in the California wine industry. She is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara, with degrees in history and business economics. -
M'Lissa Wilkins
Business Office Support & Station "Mom"
M'Lissa began with KUNR in December of 2009. She recently relocated from Las Vegas back to Reno where her heart and extended family are. Since then she has pursued her outside passion for horses. -
Albert "AJ" Kenneson
Office Manager / Program Officer
Albert, or AJ, began with KUNR in November 2010. He received an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2007. He's a welcome new addition to the KUNR team.
