The Street Vibrations Motorcycle Festival begins tomorrow in Reno and organizers say the event could bring $56 million to the local economy.

According to a 2011 study by the Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitor's Authority, the typical visitor to the area has an average daily budget of $614 for things like food, lodging, and entertainment.

Event organizers expect 1,000 registered participants for this year's event, along with an additional 29,000 motorcycle enthusiasts to the area.

Organizers say more than half of anticipated participants have registered and it's common for hundreds of riders to register when they arrive in Reno.

The five-day event is in its 19th year and is the fourth largest motorcycle event in the nation.
