U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will host a town hall Sept. 12 at the University of Nevada, Reno, where the discussion will focus on education issues.

WHEN: Doors will open at 4 p.m.; event is from 5-6:30 p.m.

Conversation topics will include: Education issues impacting Hispanic Americans, college access and affordability, and the connection between education and jobs, according to a press release from the Department of Education.

Sec. Duncan's visit is the first stop of the Department of Education's third annual back-to-school bus tour across the nation from Sept. 12-21.

The event is co-sponsored by UNR's Latino Research Center.
