Lyft Can Now Pick You Up At Reno's Airport (Uber, too)

On the heels of Uber, Lyft joins the list of ridesharing services that can pick up passengers at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. Our contributor LuizaVieira has the story.

Lyft signed an agreement with the airport authority last week that allows its drivers to officially pick-up customers at the airport terminal. Before they were only allowed to drop people off.

Like hotel shuttles, taxis and other ground transportation, Lyft will have to pay a minimal fee to operate. Airport President and CEO Marily Mora, says proper permitting was important so all ground transportation operations can be treated fairly.

Mora also says this new service will expand the options passengers have to ride downtown, to the casinos and to the ski lifts.
