Saint Paul Sunday

Airs Sunday morning from 9-10 a.m.

Saint Paul Sunday has been relaxing listeners with flowing classical music and conversation since 1981. One-of-a-kind performances have been at the center of the program since it's launch. Saint Paul Sunday is a Peabody Award-winning weekly classical music radio program hosted by Bill McGlaughlin. It is America's most widely listened to weekly classical music program produced by public radio.

For each show, Bill McGlaughlin invites a virtuoso soloist or ensemble into the studio to discuss and perform music. The music on the program is generally classical music, and the pieces performed range from late medieval through contemporary music.

Host Bill McGlaughlin opens the studio to the world's best classical musicians. He makes the tone so conversational it is like having the guests on your deck for a morning brunch. They're of every conceivable style and mix, for both conversation and presentation. They offer their listeners intimate access to how excellent music is created. McGlaughlin engages each soloist or ensemble through live question and answer sessions accompanied by anecdotes and useful insights.

Saint Paul Sunday is produced by American Public Media. For more information, visit http://saintpaulsunday.publicradio.org.
