Air Date: 07/12/12 One of the better problems to have in life is having a second home and not liking it as much as your spouse. Generally, it is the wife who doesn't enjoy time at a second home as much as her husband and reasons may vary. Usually, it is because the second home is boring and all of one's interests are at the other home. Well, if you don't enjoy the second home as much as the first home, Dr. Jankovich suggests not digging your heels in and refusing to participate, but rather make time more enjoyable. Bring projects from your primary home and good books that would require more time to read. Invest time in getting to know the community and find local events you might enjoy. And there isn't anything that says you have to spend as much time there as your spouse who enjoys it more. Dr. Jankovich has more suggestions on how to cope with a second home on this edition of Relationships.
