Air Date: 09/06/12 Sometimes we want to change something about ourselves, which is a good thing. But some of the aspects of our character are hard wired into the ways our brains work like the spots on a leopard. Procrastination comes up a lot. People want to get rid of the habit they have of waiting until the last minute to get something accomplished. Unlike what many may think, people who procrastinate generally aren't happy with the pattern. Those who procrastinate don't do it out of a base level psychological need and they don't develop the trait after they get married, it is just how their brain works. They tend to have done it all their life. No matter what the task, if one procrastinator is married to someone who doesn't procrastinate, it can create a marital concern. This week, Cheryl offers some suggestions on how to create a working relationship under those circumstances on this week's edition of Relationships. Dr. Rebecca Jankovich airs Thursday mornings on 88.7 FM, KUNR, and can be reached at 775-322-1839.
