Experts: Repellants with DEET Safe for Kids

So far this year, the West Nile virus has been found in insects and animals in 39 state. In 20 of those states, people have become ill. Five deaths have been confirmed. CDC officials are warning Americans to take precautions and avoid being bitten by mosquitoes. They advise the most effective insect repellants contain DEET. And, as NPR's Vicky Que reports, health officials now say that DEET repellants are safe for children older than two months of age.
