Humor in parenting.

Family life can be pretty funny. Humor is one of the most delightful aspects of living with others.  Laughter is infectious and is very healthy. Laughter it turns out can lessen stress, strengthen our immune system, and even diminish pain.    With all of the many social and physical benefits of humor, there is one caveat.  It's important to laugh with people and not at people.  Teasing is fine as long as it is done gently and with love.  Sometimes, humor can be a bit too pointed and can be hurtful.    Cheryl discusses suggestions on how to keep healthy laughter within your family and relationship with your children on this week's edition of Parenting.   Parenting with Cheryl Erwine airs every Tuesday morning on 88.7 FM, KUNR, and can be reached at 775-331-6723 or cheryl.erwine@sbcglobal.net.
