Sinister gets you in the mood for the Halloween season. Ethan Hawke doesn't dress down and wander around in the dark like many stereotypical horror movies. A true break in the normal for horror movies, Sinister is it. in Sinister, a true-crime writer finds a cache of 8mm "snuff" films that suggest the murder he is currently researching is the work of a serial killer whose career dates back to the 1960s. Set in 1964, American Horror Story: Asylum takes us into a Church-run haven for the criminally insane, ruled with an iron fist by Sister Jude, a nun with a troubled past. Inside this locked down facility, danger lurks around every corner. From Nazis and serial killers, to mutants and aliens, no one is safe inside these walls. Listen in to hear more about both of these great horror flicks on this week's film review with Robin Hollabird.
