The Department of Theatre & Dance is excited to welcome DaEun Jung to campus as part of our global forms teaching residencies. DaEun has redefined the principle, form, structure, and function of Korean classical/folk dance in inter/multi-cultural settings as a continuation of her graduate study at UCLA where she received her MFA in choreography. During her five-day residency, DaEun will teach master classes and an intensive workshop, culminating in an opportunity for the students to perform alongside DaEun during her solo recital. The performances will be Friday, September 24, 2021 at 6:00pm and 7:30pm in the Dance Theatre. This event will be free to the public. Seating is limited and beings a half hour prior to showtimes. A livestream of the 6:00pm show will be available. Visit unr.edu/theatre-dance for more information on viewing the livestream and directions to the Dance Theatre.
