Future Of Park Lane Property Looks Bright

Company officials with Reno Land Inc. recently presented their plans to redevelop the former site of Park Lane Mall. Our contributor Brook Bentley of the Northern Nevada Business Weekly has the details.

Chip Bowlby, managing partner for the firm, says their plan includes housing, retail, restaurants, and professional offices.

Within the development, there will be two distinct neighborhoods with a total of 725 residential units, ranging from studios to three-bedroom spaces.

They estimate that the total construction cost will be $500 million and that the project will create 3,200 construction jobs along with 700 permanent jobs.

The 46-acre in-fill development is the largest infill site in the City of Reno. Construction is slated to start next spring.
