Over the past several years, misinformation and propaganda have taken over social media, creating confusion and division. That’s why Republican Assemblywoman Jill Tolles is introducing a measure aimed at promoting information literacy in public schools. KUNR’s Paul Boger spoke with Tolles to learn more about her bill.

There are currently 52 bills sponsored by Assembly Republicans still alive in the Nevada legislature. Reno Assemblywoman Jill Tolles introduced several of them. She spoke with KUNR's Paul Boger from her office in Carson City about her take on some of that legislation and whether lawmakers have been willing to work in a bipartisan fashion this session.

Over the past few weeks, KUNR has been airing interviews with several candidates for political office across the state. However, there are a few voices that have been missing, namely the Republican candidate for governor, Adam Laxalt. KUNR was unable to schedule a sit-down with the candidate despite repeated requests. As part of an effort to learn more about his stance on the issues, KUNR's Paul Boger spoke with another prominent Republican, Assemblywoman Jill Tolles of Reno, to talk about why she's supporting Laxalt's campaign for governor.
