Public radio listeners may already know Paula Poundstone from her long-running gig as a panelist on the NPR quiz show, "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me," but she currently is on tour, has a new puppy, loves vaccuum cleaners, and spoke about all of these things (and more!) with KUNR's Michele Ravera. Their conversation comes just before Poundstone is scheduled to perform in Reno on Saturday, June 1, at the Pioneer Center.

Poundstone chatted with KUNR about her new podcast, Nobody Listens to Paula Poundstone, and poked fun at the popularity of podcasts: "The thing about a podcast at this point in our lives, is that everyone has one. We as mammals we have fur, we breathe oxygen, we don't eat our young and we have a podcast. It's one of the ways you can know you're a person."

During her interview with KUNR, she also reflected on her career, which has spanned decades. "The only thing that's changed over the years is that with age did come the wisdom that I have the best job in the entire world. It's just so much fun. I consider myself a proud member of the Endorphin Production Industry," she said.

You can find more details about her upcoming performance in Reno here.
