A sports book operating system, CG Technology Holding, has been fined $250,000 by Nevada regulators. Our contributor Kaleb Roedel of the Northern Nevada Business View reports.

The company which operates the race and sports books in eight Las Vegas casinos is being fined for a variety of violations consisting of, illegally accepting out-of-state bets, taking wagers after the contest and underpaying or overpaying players.

This is the third time they have been fined for violations. In October 2016, the U.S. government fined the company $22.5 million dollars, and the state also imposed a $1.5 million penalty in 2006.

CG Technology holding has signed a stipulation with the Nevada Gaming Control Board. The fine is less than the previous penalties because the infractions were reported by the company, they have also agreed to replace its Cantor Sports system.
