UNR Students Win $50K To Improve Flight Control Of Drones

A group of students from the University of Nevada, Reno has been busy at the drawing board designing a product to improve the flight control of commercial drones. This month, their work paid off when those entrepreneurs won the Sontag Entrepreneurship Award.

The business competition is funded with a major gift from alumnus Rick Sontag to the University of Nevada.  Each year a single prize of $50 thousand is awarded. Reno Public Radio's Anh Gray talks with the Director of the Sontag Entrepreneurship Competition Dave Croasdell and  one of the students entrepreneurs ofNevada Dynamics, MacCallister Higgins.
