In Reno, Hillary Clinton Slams Trump For 'Making America Hate Again'

Hillary Clinton gave a fiery speech in Reno today, accusing her opponent of embracing fringe groups and racist ideas.

Clinton told a crowd at Truckee Meadows Community College that Trump has legitimized groups that prescribe to racist philosophies and conspiracy theories.

"From the start, Donald Trump has built his campaign on prejudice and paranoia," she said. "He is taking hate groups mainstream, and helping a radical fringe take over the Republican party."

During her fourth visit to Northern Nevada, and first since February, Clinton cited a laundry list of racially inflammatory remarks and tweets by Trump that, she says, have had a negative impact on the country.

"He says he wants to make America great again, but, more and more, it seems his real message is 'Make America Hate Again.'"

Trump took similar swipes at Clinton during his rally today in New Hampshire, accusing Clinton of pandering to black voters and trying to "smear" his supporters as racists.

Trump will be attending a private fundraiser at Harrah's on Lake Tahoe tomorrow.
