The makeup of the Reno City Council is staying the same, as all four seats up for grabs have been filled by incumbents.

David Bobzien handily won his election bid for the city’s at-large seat, beating out former Washoe County Republican Chairman Sam Kumar.
During an interview last month with KUNR, Bobzien said his biggest priority if elected is…
“…recognizing that this city is changing, and it’s up to us to make the most of it, not lose what it is we care about our city in terms of our quality of life and how wonderful of a place this is to live,” he said.
In Ward 1, Jenny Brekhus narrowly won a contentious re-election campaign against Reno lawyer, Victor Salcido. Early in her campaign, Brekhus told KUNR that as the incumbent, she has the experience and vision to move the city forward.
“I’m looking out beyond initiatives we’re doing now to look even further," she says. "We need to get a handle on area planning out in outlying growing areas, and we need to come back into our neighborhoods.”
Oscar Delgado and Neoma Jardon will also return to council after running unopposed.
