KUNR 88.7 FM is northern Nevada's only National Public Radio-affiliated station and airs news, classical music and jazz, in addition to a variety of other music genres and cultural programming. An outreach service of the University of Nevada, Reno, KUNR has a service area of 106,000 square miles, broadcasting to northern Nevada and northeastern California.
