The Nevada Bureau of Land Management is reporting the Hungry Fire, burning near Spanish Springs, has burned 300 acres and is at 30% containment. Both ground crews and air support fought the fire Tuesday afternoon.

Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District is reporting the Hungry Fire is still burning southwest of Pyramid Lake and has consumed 300 acres at 5% containment. The fire did not grow overnight. The Bureau of Land Management is providing updates on InciWeb.

The fire has now burned 300 acres and is 5 percent contained, according to TMFPD. The blaze is on tribal and Bureau of Land Management jurisdiction and has been boxed with retardant from an air attack. There is a low threat to the Pebble Creek subdivision. Voluntary evacuations have been lifted and the evacuation center is closed.
Here is the final evening update from TMFPD: Engines will be staged at Pebble Creek subdivision overnight. Residents should remain vigilant and prepared. We do not expect fire growth overnight.

The Hungry Fire has burned 180 acres, according to Sierra Front. The BLM of Nevada is reporting that a CodeRED evacuation advisory has been issued from Campo Rico to Winnemucca Ranch Road. Officials advise impacted residents to sign up for CodeRED alerts.
The Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District says progress is being made by air attack but there's no containment. The fire is moving northeast toward Spanish Springs. No structures are threatened, but there are about 600 structures near the fire and crews are mobilizing to provide structure protection in the Pebble Creek community as a precaution.
Fire officials are asking everyone to avoid the area of Golden Eye Parkway and Eagle Canyon Drive.
