Purple Politics Nevada with Lucia Starbuck
Monthly on the third Friday at 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., as well as the following Sunday at 4 p.m.
Purple Politics Nevada is KUNR’s politics show hosted by democracy reporter Lucia Starbuck. The name refers to the fact that the state isn’t blue or red — it’s both.
Season 2 follows Nevada politics and the 2024 election. Each month, Lucia will speak with candidates running for office, policymakers seeking change, and Nevada voters about the issues that matter the most to them.
The show launched in February 2023 to keep listeners informed about Nevada’s biennial legislative session. Starting in 2024, the show will air monthly in a 30-minute format.
