Ohio invests in 'PFAS Annihilator' to get toxic chemicals out of fire-fighting foam

For decades, firefighters used a fire-fighting foam that contained PFAS, the substances known as ‘forever chemicals’ that can cause cancer and other illnesses.

In Ohio, the state began working early with a company that has created a “PFAS Annihilator” to destroy the toxic chemical in the foam.
