McDaniel played Lt. James Fancy, Andy Sipowicz' boss, on NYPD Blue. McDaniel has been in many films, including Malcolm X and Sunshine State, and has appeared on a number of TV shows, including Stargate SG-1, All My Children and Hill Street Blues.
