Mapping the Senate after Warner's Departure

With Virginia Republican John Warner announcing he's leaving the Senate after 30 years in office, and Idaho Republican Sen. Larry Craig reportedly set to announce his resignation Saturday, the GOP is going into 2008 with high anxiety.

The Republicans have to defend 22 of the 34 Senate seats up for grabs next year.
