Nevada Treasurer candidates Republican Drew Johnson (left) and Democrat Tya Mathis-Coleman discuss their policy proposals during a candidate forum moderated by KUNR’s James Wolfgang Perez in partnership with Sierra Nevada Forums and the Nevada Appeal in Carson City, Nevada, on Oct. 12, 2026.

Listen to those questions answered and more, along with a recap of the CD2, governor, and treasurer candidate forums in this month’s episode of Purple Politics Nevada, hosted by Lucia Starbuck.
