We'd like to share the results of the KUNR vote for the Best Animated Short, the Best Live-Action Short, and the Best Documentary Short for the 2019 Academy Award nominated films.

How did our results match up to the Academy's voting?
Live Action Shorts:
Detainment (Ireland)
Fauve (Canada)
Marguerite (Canada) -- Marguerite won Reno's choice for best live action short for 2019.
Madre (Spain)
Skin (USA) -- Skin won the Academy Award, but took second as Reno's choice.
Animated Shorts:
Animal Behaviour (Canada) -- Animal Behavior was Reno's favorite animated short for 2019.
Bao (USA) -- Bao won the Academy Award for best animated short. It came in third for Reno's choice.
