Celebrate the splendor of the Victorian Era at the Fourth Ward School Museum in historic Virginia City, Nevada this Mother’s Day Weekend.

On Saturday, May 13, indulge in the resplendent ritual of afternoon tea in an authentic Victorian-Era environment.

Mary W. Covington, the Collections Manager of the Nevada State Museum in Carson City, will delight you with her presentation “Refining to Refined: Teacups at the Nevada State Museum”.

Sip tea & mimosas and enjoy brunch in the comfort of the E.L. Weigand Great Hall of our 1876-built four-story school house while you experience a curated Victorian Fashion presentation.

You’ll be treated to an entertaining and educational presentation, Victorian Bingo, elegant music from a live string quartet from the Silver Strings Quartet (featuring members of the Carson City Symphony) and other elegant, era-specific delights.
