Doodle Your Soul is back with their famously awesome and creative Kid's Arts & Crafts Class! Come in this Saturday from 12-3pm to enjoy creating art and take home what you make.
This is completely free, but we ask you to RSVP to make sure we have plenty of supplies.
Adult supervision is required for the duration of the class.

Join School of Rock Reno for an electrifying afternoon of live music from 1 to 4 pm, Saturday, April 4 at the Reno Public Market in Midtown, Reno.
School of Rock Reno is taking over the stage for their Mid-Season Performance, and you won’t want to miss the incredible talent their students have been working so hard to showcase.
They will be kicking things off with an opening set by their Rock 101 group followed by their performance groups and adult band pay tribute to some of the greatest eras and icons in music history including “Best of the 80s,” Punk Rock,” Fleetwood Mac” and “Best of the 2000s.”
School of Rock offers fun and educational music camps for kids, teens, and adults of all skill levels. Students learn to play an instrument, join a band, and perform a real, live rock show at the end of the week. Our camps are the perfect introduction to our performance-based music education.

Celebrate springtime with Animal Ark Wildlife Sanctuary at our Easter at the Ark event on Sunday, April 5, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM! This family-friendly celebration combines wildlife, seasonal fun, and hands-on activities for all ages.

Visitors can enjoy a full day of Easter-themed fun set against the beautiful high desert backdrop of Animal Ark. Highlights include:

Animal Enrichment Egg Hunts – Watch as our animal residents receive special Easter-themed enrichment throughout the day! These fun and stimulating “egg hunts” help encourage natural behaviors and are always a hit with guests.

Easter Egg Hunts for Kids – Children can explore the park on an exciting egg hunt adventure! Kiddos will retrieve eggs hidden throughout the sanctuary and turn them in at the front for candy prizes. Hunts will take place at 11am, 12pm, and 2pm for all ages.

Spring-Themed Crafts & Activities – Families can enjoy hands-on craft stations and educational activities focused on local bunnies and some of Animal Ark’s very own residents who hatch from eggs.

Local Food Trucks – Enjoy delicious bites from local food vendors as you take in the sights and sounds of spring at the sanctuary.

Save the date! Come out for some amazing family fun at the Reno Public Market! On Easter Sunday, we will be hosting a photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny and two Easter Egg Hunts with different age group locations at each hunt to ensure safety and fun.
Easter Egg Hunt Schedule:
10am - Toddlers up to age 8 in the West Hall
12pm - Up to age 12 in the Mezzanine
2 pm - Up to age 12 in the Mezzanine
Parents, come enjoy Easter-themed cocktails at Honey Bar and grab snacks from any of our wonderful vendors!

Estelle J. Kelsey Foundation Hands ON! Second Saturdays offers monthly free admission, hands-on art activities, storytelling, a docent-guided tour, live performances, and community collaborations. “Art Expeditions” provides children the opportunity to engage with Museum staff and take a closer look at current work on view. New exhibitions, community collaborations, guest performances and monthly themes rotate in this engaging series of monthly programs.

This month’s “Life Forms and Art Forms” theme is inspired by a discrete thematic section, “Listening to the Land” in the Into the Time Horizon exhibition.
