RMHC Northern Nevada invites the community to its 2026 Red Shoe Gala: “Back to the Prom” on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa. The gala celebrates 40 years of keeping families close and supports families whose children need medical care far from home. Sponsorships are available, and individual tickets are $200. NAMIWalks Northern Nevada raises awareness about mental health in our community. Participants stand together in support family, friends, and loved ones experiencing mental health conditions. Lend your voice by joining us!
This event welcomes and encourages families to participate. Strollers are welcome on the 1 mile course. Sign up the whole family and join us for an uplifting event! We will have local community vendors and food trucks at the event, as well as fitness demonstrations, arts and crafts activities, and more!

Welcome autumn with our 12th annual park-benefitting cruise! Enjoy spellbinding stories (true or false, you decide!), free-flowing fine wine by Highway 12 Winery, and endless appetizers. A cash bar will be available.A live auction of marvelous treasures and experiences will be offered, benefiting the Sierra State Parks Foundation.Seating is limited, and reservations are required. We highly recommend guests arrive at 3:30 pm as the boat leaves sharply at 4 pm! We predict the boat will return to the docks at 6 pm.Tickets are $85 ($75 donors), which includes a sunset cruise, access to multiple entertaining speakers, heavy appetizers, and free wine.
