Reno Pops Orchestra Presents: “Be Our Guest” – A Fundraising Dinner with Music, Local Chefs, and AuctionsReno, NV – The Reno Pops Orchestra invites the community to an unforgettable evening of music, culinary delight, and celebration at “Be Our Guest,” on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, at the Reno Elks Lodge. All proceeds go to supporting the Reno Pops Orchestra nonprofit—an organization dedicated to bringing great music from different time periods, genres, and cultures to our community for free.A gourmet served buffet dinner will be created by celebrated local chefs Jonathan Chapin and Daryl Butterfield, featuring:• Mixed green salad with veggies and fruit• Caramelized onion blue cheese vinaigrette or summer vinaigrette• Rosemary-seasoned roasted potatoes• Summer squash medley• Pork loin with apricot butter glaze and au jus• Seared chicken bites with honey-strawberry glaze, served with rice• Apple crisp dessertGuests will also enjoy live and silent auctions, featuring items such as a Professional Chef 5-Course Dinner for 8, a Wine Tasting for up to 20 people from Total Wine & More, and many more!The evening will include a live performance from the Reno Pops Orchestra, conducted by Dr. Jane K. Explore the great state that we call home – through music! Featuring the beloved state song Home Means Nevada, the playful excitement of The Thrill of the Orchestra, and the toe-tapping energy of Rodeo-Hoedown and Orange Blossom Special, this engaging program is perfect for young listeners. Experience the rich cultural sounds of Nevada with a traditional Paiute Pine Nut Circle Song performed by Michelle McCaule and the dynamic rhythms of Las Chiapanecas. With lively music, interactive moments, and a welcoming atmosphere, this concert is the perfect way to spark a lifelong love of music in kids of all ages!
The concert is 1 hr. No advance ticket reservation is required.
Lobby Activities: Enjoy special activities for children on the plaza and in the concert hall lobbies related to the theme of the concert, including a coloring station, craft station, and more. Activities take place from 10:00 AM - 10:55 AM for 11:00 AM concertgoers.
