KUNR Lineup Changes Summer 2020
KUNR Lineup Changes, Effective Sept. 7, 2020
Thank you for providing invaluable listener feedback throughout the summer. We appreciate the response we received from our on-air programming surveys and have implemented the following lineup changes:
Weekday Changes
While most of the weekday programming will remain the same, we have decided to make some adjustments to the evening programs based on listener feedback from the surveys.
At 7 p.m., coming out of The Daily, you will now hear As It Happens from CBC Radio with hosts Carol Off and Chris Howden. Then, at 8 p.m., you can tune in for a different show each weeknight — Reveal on Mondays, Planet Money and How I Built This on Tuesdays, The Moth Radio Hour on Wednesdays, Snap Judgment on Thursdays and TED Radio Hour on Fridays. At 9 p.m., you can start to wind down your evening by listening to a re-airing of the day's episode of Fresh Air. Finally, at 10 p.m., we will go across the pond to hear news from the BBC with BBC World Service.
Saturday Changes
Following Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me, Radiolab will now air at 11 a.m., and Reveal will take over Radiolab's former time slot at 2 p.m. Latino USA will now air at 4 p.m., in addition to its original Sunday 8 p.m. airtime.
With Live From Here being canceled nationwide, we shifted The Risky Biscuit Hayseed Hoot to air at 6 p.m., followed by Jimbo's Juke Joint and Acoustic Cafe at 8 p.m, for an evening of music.
If you missed it at 11 a.m., catch a repeat of Radiolab at 10 p.m. Finally, at 11 p.m., the evening will wind down with the latest news from BBC World Service.
