The film, directed by Kim A. Snyder, is about librarians across the U.S. who examine how restrictions on library content are shaping their communities. Drawing on historical context, The Librarians explores the broader implications for education and public life.

Join us on Feb. 24 for a free screening and community-driven conversation of The Librarians from Independent Lens. Indie Lens Pop-up is a community series that brings people together for film showings and conversations.
