The poll of 500 likely Nevada voters shows 52% support rasing taxes, while 37% prefer spending cuts. A breakdown of the sample show Democrats (70%) and independent voters (52%) both tending to prefer tax increases. GOP voters, meanwhile, prefer spending cuts to the tune of 59%. Overall, 55% of those surveyed specifically favored intituting a corporate income tax. The RAN poll shows an overwheling 82% of respondents think any tax increases should be temporary.
