If you decide to wait until election day (September 13th) to vote in Nevada's special election for congress, you'll have to cast your ballot at your assigned polling place. For 65-thousand registered voters in Washoe County, that will be someplace different than they voted last November. So check your mailbox. If you have a new polling place you should get a postcard later this week telling you where your new one is. You can also check your registration status and polling place online. (click here) You might also consider voting early. Click here for a list of early voting sites and schedule. You can vote early at any of the 14 locations no matter where your precinct is. Not registered to vote? Don't put it off- the deadline to register Saturday, August 13.
