We are currently under a high-pressure ridge that is allowing us to warm up and stay mostly dry. The Sierras will continue to see precipitation and chances for thunderstorms throughout the day. In Reno, there is a chance for a shower later this evening. Winds are staying mostly light.
Isolated storms will continue on and off until Friday. By Sunday we could see the start of another storm.
