Senate Panel Focuses on Iraq Prisoner Abuse

Maj. Gen. Antonio Taguba, who wrote the report on Iraqi prisoner abuse at Abu Ghraib, appears Tuesday before the Senate Armed Services Committee. In his report, Taguba chides military intelligence officials for putting under their command poorly trained military police at Abu Ghraib and for involving them in efforts to make detainees more cooperative in interrogation sessions.
