Technology taking attention away amidst time together.

Technology is becoming easier, cheaper, and more prevalent in our everyday lives.  As such, it may come as no surprise that regardless of the technology, couples are frequently sitting down together to enjoy one another's company when out comes the phone to play a game, update your Facebook status, or text a friend.  This act takes your attention away from your partner.  More often than not their mate doesn't feel like they are present to spend time together.  This week, Dr. Jankovich suggests setting a time when technology goes away and it becomes time to just hang out.  She also discusses how to more effectively stay connected through loving greetings and departures.  Dr. Rebecca Jankovich airs Thursday mornings on 88.7 FM, KUNR, and can be reached at 775-322-1839.
