The Nevada State Old-Time Fiddlers Contest is held annually in Eureka, Nevada at the historic Eureka Opera House. The event is one of many such state and regional contests held across the United States to preserve and promote the art of old-time fiddling. This year's contest is May 6 & 7, 2022. Friday night's events include a "hot fiddle" contest, twin fiddling exhibition, and jam session. The program begins at 6:30pm. Saturday's contest will begin at 9:30am and end when competition is done, usually around 4:30pm. The event is free to the public, but donations are welcome.
