The state estimates at least 3,700 Washoe County residents and Reno-Sparks Indian Colony members were affected.
“SNAP benefits help families put food on the table, and losing food purchased with those benefits creates an additional burden during an already difficult time,” Deputy Administrator Kelly Cantrelle said.
Applications are due by Friday, Aug. 28, either by visiting a Nevada Division of Social Services office or by calling 775-684-7200.
