This summer marks the 50th anniversary of the famed San Francisco “Summer of Love”. Some of the iconic images we associate with that counter-culture summer; long rock jams, psychedelic light shows, posters and dancing were developed right here in Nevada at the Red Dog Saloon home of “The Charlatans”, the band that started the sound of the summer of love.
