SendCutSend, a Reno-based rapid custom manufacturing company, will host two on-site hiring events in June as it continues to expand its local workforce and operations.
The company is hiring for a variety of roles across production, finishing, shipping and quality. Applicants of all experience levels are encouraged to attend and will have the opportunity to meet the team, learn about available positions and interview on the spot.The parts that leave SendCutSend's Reno floor support robotics, aerospace, distribution, agriculture, rocketry, and prototypes coming out of some of the country's most ambitious companies. With more than 500 employees and a new Reno facility on the way, the company is looking for motivated people who want to help build the future of American manufacturing.

Explore the fascinating history and techniques of woodblock printing in this engaging talk led by Christina Michael, Nell J. Redfield School Services Manager and E. L. Cord Museum School Instructor. From iconic works by Japanese artist Hokusai to contemporary examples, participants will take a close look at celebrated woodblock prints and uncover the intricate processes behind their creation.
This program is in partnership with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) and is hosted every third Wednesday of the month. Support for the 2026 series provided by CJ Christenson.

Animal Ark Wildlife Sanctuary invites guests of all ages to crawl, climb, and explore the fascinating world of insects and arachnids during Invertebrate Day, taking place Saturday, June 20 from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This special event offers hands-on learning and nature-based fun centered around some of Nevada’s most underrated creatures.
Guests will enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities throughout the park, including:🪲 Field Guide Adventure – Pick up a custom field guide and explore the sanctuary while searching for insect clues and fun facts about Nevada’s native invertebrates.
