Ky Plaskon
Ky Plaskon was the first teacher for Reno Youth Radio (now KUNR Youth Media) when it launched in 2017. The program is a partnership between the Washoe County School District and KUNR to train high school students in NPR-style reporting. In the first year of the program, two students received national recognition from the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System for their reporting.
