On-Demand Laundry App Launches In Reno

If you’re tired of spending hours on laundry every week, there’s now an app for that.

SudShare is an on-demand laundry cleaning, pickup and delivery service that the company describes as “Uber-for-laundry.” The Baltimore-based company just launched its app in Reno.

Users can place their laundry outside in a hamper or disposable bag, and gig workers called “Sudsters” pick it up, take it home, then wash, dry and fold it all before returning it in new bags. The company started earlier this year in only a few cities and has since grown to 400, including Reno.

GroupGets is an online buying platform created by engineers for engineers. Think GoFundMe for technical products and electronics. Typically the platform is used to help bring people together to meet high minimum order requirements for electronic components, but now, it’s helping companies fund production of new ideas.
