Your summer begins May 30-June 1 with an outdoor adventure at Idlewild Park! The Reno River Festival kicks off summer with 24 acts on 2 stages over 3 days PLUS a themed bar tour, 100+ vendor shops, dozens of food and drink options, thrill rides and games, a Truckee River rafting experience, a Bucket Golf course, a dog zone, an outdoor art experience, and a festival-wide scavenger hunt.

3-Day RiverFest Passes are $15 including all fees. Kids 17 and under and dogs are free! A portion of your pre-purchased entry fee benefits Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful and the Kiwanis Bike Program. PLUS, when you pre-purchase you'll be automatically entered to win prizes all festival weekend long!

Join us for an exciting summer adventure where kids will explore the beauty of the ocean through art! Campers will create vibrant pieces inspired by the animals and landscapes found under the sea and along the shore using various media and techniques. This hands-on camp encourages artistic expression while fostering a deeper connection to nature.

Dress comfortably for artistic exploration!

Ages: 6-10

All supplies included. A midmorning snack will be provided. Please note any dietary restrictions.

The camp will be held in the Classroom, on the ground floor of the Lake Mansion. Park in our free lot off Arlington Avenue and walk down the ramp.

Join us at the Caughlin Ranch Trail for the art of Pleinair, or the art of painting outdoors! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned artist looking to refresh your practice, this class invites you to slow down, observe deeply, and capture the world around you in watercolor.

We will meet at the Caughlin Ranch Trailhead in West/Southwest Reno for a serene painting class while taking in nature. All art supplies will be provided, but please bring a chair or blanket, water, sunscreen, or anything else you might need to make yourself comfortable outdoors during the class.

Join us for a mixed-media sculpture series where you will work with a variety of interesting media over four weeks to create unique and dynamic works of 3-dimensional art! From mobiles made of copper sheeting and wire to miniature plant totems and clay sculptures, this series is a great way to get in touch with your creativity and develop your sculpture skills.
