Traveling War Memorial Makes Stop in Washoe County

In honor of veterans of the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars, a traveling exhibit is making its way across the Silver State. The memorial’s current stop is in Washoe County. About a year ago, Reno Public Radio’s Michelle Bliss reported on the display, which gives visitors an intimate look at the faces of about 7,000 service members lost in battle. Let’s listen back to that story.

The war memorial “Always Lost: A Meditation on War” opens this week at the Washoe County Administration Complex. For more details, click here.
