Two of the most influential voices in contemporary art—Edgar Arceneaux and Charles Gaines—come together for a rare public conversation in this compelling program. Known for pushing the boundaries of conceptual and political art, these celebrated artists will explore the role of material, history, and philosophy in shaping their groundbreaking practices.

A shipwreck throws lives into disarray, where mistaken identities lead to hilarious havoc and unexpected connections. Viola, stranded and disguised as a boy, falls for the Duke, who pines for Olivia. However, Olivia, in mourning, finds herself smitten with Viola, setting off a comical chain of romantic entanglements. This delightful gem brims with wit, wordplay and whimsy to tell a timeless tale of love, loss and the joyous absurdity of life.

About the Event
Ideateam is an evolving cast of Sacramento-based musicians who collectively collaborate to refine their craft through their distinct original compositions, along with an array of both vintage and modern cover arrangements. The band's live sets are known for flowing in and around a winding fusion of grooves while leaning on a foundation of experimental Funk, Soul, and R&B sounds.
Expecting the funk in its purest primordial form: A confluence of tight, technical tunes dripping with that amalgam of mud and forest floor, where spores rise of their own accord and you have no choice but to sit and sully your blue-and-white dress to consider the mushroom, to heed the nearby placard reading: “Eat me.”

Doodle Your Soul is back with their famously awesome and creative Kid's Arts & Crafts Class! Come in this Saturday from 12-3pm to enjoy creating art and take home what you make.
This is completely free, but we ask you to RSVP to make sure we have plenty of supplies.
Adult supervision is required for the duration of the class.

SUMMER ART RECEPTION THIS WEEKEND: AUGUST 9, 2025, 1-4pm

Catherine Sobredo brings an exquisite collection of work spanning intaglio, photography, monotypes, and polaroid transfers. Her work evolved from her study of Polaroid image and emulsion transfers, including the impressionistic Polaroid SX-70 manipulations paving the way to her discover of solar plate etchings.

She is an area fine art photographer previously from Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her images, Soulshapes, invoke the inner landscapes of the soul - mystical, ethereal, contemplative, transcendent. Surrounded by portals and the female form, among her other subjects, the exhibition radiates beauty and soul with an incredible eye for detail and composition.
