Reno’s favorite free summer concert series is back and bigger than ever. OFF THE RAILS returns to Locomotion Plaza for three Fridays of high-energy, genre-blending, soul-shaking music under the iconic Reno Arch.

Presented in collaboration with the City of Reno, these concerts are a summer-long celebration—with food, drinks, games, a dedicated Kid Zone, and unforgettable live performances from local and national acts.

Set in the heart of downtown at 301 N. Virginia Street, OFF THE RAILS brings together music lovers of all ages. With artists hailing from New Orleans, San Diego, Portland, the Northern Sierra Nevadas, and Reno, the series is an electrifying mix of sound, soul, and community spirit.

Spacehall Sound Machine (San Diego) + Nightbrain (Quincy, CA): Psychedelic dance grooves meet post-punk pulse as Spacehall Sound Machine takes over the plaza. Arrive early for Nightbrain’s moody-meets-clubby blend of chill-hop, funk, and groove.

Family Worship Center (Portland via Nashville) + Subtle Lovers (Reno): The summer series closes with a soul-stirring finale. Family Worship Center channels redemption through 70s rock revival that will bring the house down as they did at OffBeat Music Festival 2024. Hometown heroes Subtle Lovers—an 11-piece horn-blasting tour de force led by Peter Barnato—bring Reno’s best to the mainstage.
