About the EventThe News Literate Community Initiative (NLCI) will hold a panel discussion moderated by journalists and news professionals at Reno Public Market.
The evening will include exhibitors, raffles and a 50/50 drawing.
The NLCI is non profit organization whose mission is to fight TRUTH DECAY by providing adults with practical tips, tools and techniques to distinguish fact from fiction in news of all kinds. By helping people identify what is true, we hope to build a shared set of facts, encourage meaningful dialogue on important issues and strengthen both our community and our democracy.

Join us every Monday for Volunteer Tool Time at 635 E 4th St, where community members come together to help keep Reno rolling! From 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, volunteers assist with stripping bikes, fixing kids and burning man bikes, and supporting our mission to make cycling more accessible for everyone.
On the first Monday of each month, we also host a special evening session from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, perfect for those who can’t make it during the day or want a little extra wrenching time.
Whether you’re an experienced mechanic or totally new to bike tools, you’re welcome here. We’ll guide you, teach you, and work alongside you as we support our community together.
