SUMMER ART RECEPTION THIS WEEKEND: AUGUST 9, 2025, 1-4pm
Catherine Sobredo brings an exquisite collection of work spanning intaglio, photography, monotypes, and polaroid transfers. Her work evolved from her study of Polaroid image and emulsion transfers, including the impressionistic Polaroid SX-70 manipulations paving the way to her discover of solar plate etchings.
She is an area fine art photographer previously from Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her images, Soulshapes, invoke the inner landscapes of the soul - mystical, ethereal, contemplative, transcendent. Surrounded by portals and the female form, among her other subjects, the exhibition radiates beauty and soul with an incredible eye for detail and composition.
Meet Catherine this Saturday from 1-4pm and learn more about her fascinating processes.
Keep Memory Alive’s annual Summer Festival & Rodeo returns on Saturday, Aug. 9 and Sunday, Aug. 10 at Shakespeare Ranch, a private Lake Tahoe estate, for another weekend of excitement to raise funds in the fight against neurodegenerative diseases across Nevada.
This weekend blends community, cuisine, entertainment, and philanthropy, all in support of the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.
