Join us at the Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center on the First Friday of each month at 6pm for an out-of-this-world combination of Art and Science. Each monthly program will feature a talented local musician, paired with a special Full-Dome program in our 360° theater.
Experience spectacular views of the official Virginia City Fireworks Show from our beautiful historic balcony and attic. This rare opportunity to sit on our balcony or look out our fourth-story windows will create memories for years to come. These areas are usually not open to the public!
Enjoy a live music performance (musicians TBA).Food is included with your ticket and your first beverage is on the house.Guests receive free parking in our designated parking lot.Tickets are limited to 40 people due to limited access to our balcony and fourth floor watch space.
Tickets are $70 general admission and $65 for our Museum Members.

Summary of Talk: Local authors and historians David & Gayle Woodruff re-enact the characters of one of the wealthiest couples on the West Coast during the 1920s through the 1950s.They kept an African Lion as a pet, owned over 25 miles of Lake Tahoe waterfront, and built one of the most beautiful estates on Lake Tahoe’s shore. This program has rave reviews, so you don't want to miss it!
David and Gayle Woodruff offer history programs throughout Lake Tahoe, the Carson Valley, and the Eastern Sierra, covering several topics that bring their characters to life in a Chautauqua performance.
